Aisling is a native of Doora- Barefield. She attended Barefield National School and Coláiste Muire in Ennis. She studied for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography and Irish. On graduating, she taught in second level education for one year, following which she returned to College to further her interest and studies in primary education.

She has a keen interest in all sports, especially football and camogie. She plays with our local Club, St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield. Aisling is currently training both junior football and senior camogie in the school. She is an All-Ireland traditional set dancer, having obtained national success in Slógadh and Scór Competitions for many years.

In her leisure time, she enjoys reading and walking.

She hopes to return to College on a part-time basis to study computers and Information Technology.
