County seven aside football

Barefield National School captured the County seven aside football title last week.Girls from 4th, 5th and 6th class participated in the INTO Mini Sevens with victories over Clarecastle and St.Conaires before progressing to the group finals in Gurteen on the 7th of April where Milltown, Knockanean and Annagh Mullagh provided the opposition. The team reached the final against Gaelscoil. It was an exhilarating match and the final score was 4-3 to Barefield and 0-1pts to Gaelscoil.
A representative from the team will be sent to Croke Park for an exhibition game at half time of the All-Ireland football final. The team panel was:
