National Day of Volunteering
Barefield National School has been asked to participate in this project in an effort to foster the wonderful spirit of volunteerism amongst our pupils. A list of Random Acts of Volunteering was distributed...
We also decided on the following activities to take place in our school.
• A visit by the Ceili band to St. Joseph’s Hospital
• Dusting and sweeping Barefield Church
• More senior pupils to befriend and help younger pupils.
T-shirts for the day were provided by the Clare Volunteer Centre.
This has been a wonderful opportunity to nourish the spirit of volunteering among family and community.
