Opening of the New School

On September 1st, Barefield National School opened once again to over
three hundred children. The build commenced in 2009 and thankfully
finished in 2010. The extension brought greatly needed facilities such
as the Computer Room and the Library. There was also a lift
installed for disabled children. There was many more Interactive
White Boards installed in each classroom. There was also a new school
bell and intercom installed.
The school was modernized and the finished product looks great!

Computers in the new school

Every classroom in the school houses five computers. These have windows 7 internet and are fast and easy to load. Five computers instead of the regular two means that activities involving the computers such as typing out poems are much quicker and easier for the teachers and the children. Project research is done quickly and easily.
