Patricia was educated at Knockeen N.S, Ennis and at the Colaiste Muire, Ennis. She studied at the Mary Immaculate College, Limerick where she completed her Teaching Diploma.

She plays Ladies football with St Joseph's Door-Barefield and trains the U12 and U14 St Josephs Door-Barefield girls football teams. At Barefield N.S. she also trains the school basketball team. Patricia enjoys music and plays the piano.
