Patricia lives in Barefield, Co. Clare. She attended Barefield N.S., Coláiste Mhuire, Ennis and Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. She taught in Scoil Chríost Ri, Cloughleigh, Ennis and Dangan N.S., Quin before being appointed Resource Teacher in Barefield N.S. in November 2000. Patricia also has strong connections with the school that go back three generations, as her grandfather was the first Principal of our school. During her teaching career, Patricia has been involved in various projects including a Léargas Comenius 1 Project. This involved visiting and creating links with other schools in the European Community. Such Projects, which create links with our European counterparts, are very important to our current status in the European Community Patricia is very committed to the use of computers in school. She has undertaken many courses including the ECDL and web-design to extend her own knowledge and to contribute this to her schoolwork.Patricia has keen interest in Physical Education and swimming. She has successfully passed water safety and First Aid examinations. |
