Peadar is form Tullabrack, Kilrush. He was educated at Maynooth College and Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. He received a B.A, a H. Dip in Education and completed a postgraduate course. Before coming to teach at Barefield N.S. he spent 2 years teaching at St. Camins School , Shannon.

Peadar has a keen interest in sport and plays Gaelic Football for Kilrush and Clare. He enjoys teaching and coaching the children in Gaelic Football at Barefield N.S.
