Siobhan is from Clarecastle and went to Kilkishen N. S. and then to Colaiste Mhuire, Ennis. She trained in Mary Immaculate College of Education, Limerick. She started her teaching career in Newbridge, Co. Kildare where she trained a winning girls football team U-11 County Final in Division 1 and also set up a school band which entertained residents of both old folks homes and hospitals. She joined the staff of Barefield in April 1994 and also trains girls for both camogie and football.
