Sports and Music

It had already been a busy fortnight at Barefield N.S. on the sporting and musical fronts also. The school qualified for School’s Seven A-side football finals following their wins in the local blitz and had emerged as winners in the Girls’ Clare Schools Cross Country Competition at Lee’s Road whole Luke Carmody captured the Clare Bronze medal for the Boy’s team. A Basketball blitz involving local schools was hosted by the school while preparations and team selections at different categories for the upcoming Clare Swimming Gala took place at Ennis Swimming Pool.
