Barefield N.S. musicians, singers and dancers went on our annual trip to Clarecastle Day-Care Centre. Our pupils entertained the elderly for an hour and even enjoyed some lovely singing by our hosts. A fantastic Table Quiz was held last night to raise funds for our school Choir. Our halla was packed with friends and families. The musical band, The Busquitos, visited our school today and entertained our pupils with brilliantly played jazz music, creative rhythm and dance. Our pupils were singing, dancing and clapping to the beat. Many thanks to Mr. Liddy for organising this visit. A fun afternoon was had by all.
Our Parents' Association will be hosting our annual Hallowe'en Cake Sale and Coffee morning this Friday October 25th from 9.30am. Tigh na Coille groups and bands had a great summer 2019. We had great help with arrangements and tutoring from Elvie Miller, Heidi & Brenn Liddy along with Derek Hickey and Eimear Coughlan. On Thursday 13th June, we had a very special visitor come to our school. Barefield National School had the pleasure of welcoming Bishop Fintan Monahan.
