The Board of Management of Barefield N.S. wishes to inform parents that the annual review of the school's Anti-Bullying Policy and its implementation was completed at the Board meeting, dated 21-05-2019. This review was conduct in accordance with the checklist set out in Appendix 4 of the Department's Anti-Bullying Procedures for Primary and Post-Primary Schools.

Our Scholastic Book fair is currently on-going in our school. Our Book Fair is a celebration of reading that puts the very best books directly into our pupils’ hands. It was a pleasure to open our school on Thursday 24th of January 2019 to all perspective parents. It was lovely to meet such enthusiastic parents and a great opportunity for staff and pupils to meet families coming to our school in the near future.
Our Hallwe'en Party truly lived up to all expectations this year. We had fairies, princes and pupils dressed in the most creative and fun costumes roaming our classrooms and corridors. Bhain gach duine sár taitneamh as an lá. A huge 'bualadh bos' to all who made such a spooktacular effort!
Our Graduation Ceremony was a most memorable and enjoyable evening for both parents and pupils. Our programme commenced with our choir entertaining the large number of parents in the halla. In glorious sunshine our pupils got a great surprise today when the ice cream van came to visit us. Each pupil got a huge 99. Some staff members were even seen enjoying the occasion. Many thanks to our hard working Parents' Association for organising this wonderful treat.
