Holy Communion

Congratulations to the boys and girls from Rang a dó who celebrated their First Holy Communion on the 22nd of May 2010.

Green Schools Project

Thank you to all children from 2nd who are taking part in the litter busters programme during May. We are delighted that the school is looking so tidy despite the building programme. The children use collection bags, pickers, gloves and do the work during break times. They also have a lovely display of their work and photographs on the Green School noticeboard.

School Extension Update

In these economic times, we are very fortunate to have our extension under construction. Our new two storey extension consisting of 8 new classrooms, G.P. Room, Special Education Rooms, store rooms, offices, etc. is taking great shape. I have to acknowledge the excellent work of our Contractor, M.Fitzgibbon (Builders) Ltd. and his team of workers under the watchful eye of site Manager, Michael Moroney. After 4 months, the following work has been completed despite the most inclement weather conditions on record:

Pupils of rang V and VI have created beautiful posters to help to learn French. Some posters are interactive Power Points, that you can download and listen.
