Welcome to Barefield NS
Barefield National School has a distinguished history in the field of Education. Since 1895, it has been a progressive centre of innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
Our children have access to fantastic facilities. We have sixteen mainstream classrooms, a special class and multi-sensory room for children with autism, six support teaching rooms, a large school hall, library, astro-turf pitch, basketball yard, two playing pitches and spacious yards. All classrooms have the latest flat-panel interactive boards.

Coffee Morning at Fahy Hall next Monday 9th March 10.15am to 11.30am to support John Conroy's Hospice Jinja Project in Uganda.
Our Parish Secretary Cora is volunteering in Hospice Jinja this July.
Cora is paying all her own expenses and any funds raised go straight to the project.
Any donation, however small, makes a difference.
